75mm TB with Plumem
3.73-SVT 17X9 with street tires
BBK pullies
....and a damm good XCal tune
Pro 5.0 short throw

My Question: Is it feasible to beat a stock 5.7 GTO with what I got?

I bet ya have a shot. It will all be in the launch though, the GTOs are supposed to be pretty hard to launch.

You should be able to take him from a dig. 2000GT4.6 is right dont race him from a roll.

From a stop you have a good chance. If you run longer than a 1/4 mile or run from a roll you don't have a chance.

from a dig, yes, you should have him, cuz they dont/cant launch for sh*t....from a roll though, youre toast. go one each. see what happens. you might be 340hp at THE MOST. it could be a good race...let us know

Most of the '04 GTOs that I've seen run have not fared well for some reason. My buddy has not yet hit 13's (14 flat). I'd say that you have a good shot.

The 5.7L GTO's suck ballz, well compared to the 6.0 they do. My friend has an auto 5.7L GTO and that thing ran like a 9.2 in the 1/8, so they can be beat by us 99-04 GT's.

Well ****, I have had people tell me that I should be able to run low 13"s. That I will have to find out next wek at the track.

Not on street tires you won't. On average it takes full bolt ons and drag radials for a 4.6 2V to hit low 13's.
