Default Too much power?

Saw something interesting this last Saturday.

I was heading up north to Vero Beach for the weekend. I’m just about to the Vero exit when I get passed by Viper. Anyway, it must have been a recent purchase as it still had the temp tags.

I get off on my exit and as I’m coming down the exit ramp (SR60 I believe) I see all this smoke. As I got closer I saw some massive burnout marks leading from the right-lane into the left-lane and eventually ending with the Viper stopped sitting ½ way up on the center median.

The car was not crashed, but that had to do some rim damage. One of the occupants of the vehicle was outside the car as I passed.

I wish I had my camera ready. I had forgotten to put in the memory card and the cameras minuscule internal memory was filled.

The smoke combined with the tire marks and the Viper crashed into the median would have made the perfect picture.

Don’t those things have traction control?

It was probably off. I saw a kid do the same thing in an LS! transam. Only the median was low enough ffor him to clear so he was facing me when he stopped

It's funny I should be reading this now. I'm wearing the shirt my friend bought me that has a picture of a traction control button in the off position.

I do a lot of driving and tend to see the aftermath of accidents. Today it was a roll over on I75.

A kid with a Z06 (must have been daddy's car) once was next to me at a light and the roads were wet because it had just rained. Well i wasnt about to race but he had to be a hard ***. Light turned green and he went sideways into oncomming traffic and completely wrecked the car. I got out to see if he was ok, he was fine but he was bawling his eyes out "dads gonna kill me when he finds out i took his car!" Beautiful car, too bad
