That would mean death for me if I tried a stunt like that. Heck my dad would probably get on me for messing my car up! Sux to be the dude in the wreck!

I do not think Vipers have traction control. I know they put down in excess of 450rwtq. The guy probably dumped the clutch. When I first got my SS, I almost wrecked in by dumping it in 2nd around a turn. That taught me a lesson.

I feel sorry for the father.... and I hope the guy opens a can-o-whup-*** on the stupid moron for stealing the car and almost killing himself and others... but then, it's 2006, daddy most likely gave him a time-out and gave him the keys to the Jag as punishment.

Yeah your right. Its crazy that there are little negative consequences for things now. I guess that will be another one that can't fully appreciate an automobile.

Saw something interesting this last Saturday.

I was heading up north to Vero Beach for the weekend. I’m just about to the Vero exit when I get passed by Viper. Anyway, it must have been a recent purchase as it still had the temp tags.

I get off on my exit and as I’m coming down the exit ramp (SR60 I believe) I see all this smoke. As I got closer I saw some massive burnout marks leading from the right-lane into the left-lane and eventually ending with the Viper stopped sitting ½ way up on the center median.

The car was not crashed, but that had to do some rim damage. One of the occupants of the vehicle was outside the car as I passed.

I wish I had my camera ready. I had forgotten to put in the memory card and the cameras minuscule internal memory was filled.

The smoke combined with the tire marks and the Viper crashed into the median would have made the perfect picture.

Don’t those things have traction control?
Where do you live at?? I live in Vero Beach.

I have lived and worked in Miami for around 3.5 years now.

I can say (for the most part) that I have grown to hate Miami.

Sometimes I like to head to Vero because its quiet, never any traffic and the waves are ok for boogie-boarding.

I now work from home most days, so I am considering moving up there.

I'd have to make the drive down to Doral about twice a week, so I'm just trying to decide if that's doable.
