i hate ****ty drivers.

twice today people tailgate me like idiots.

1st, i was in a bmw 330ci this gay *** in a acura TL (i think, it was night so im just judging by the shape of his headlights) starts tailgating me, there is a car in front of me so i cant do anything. The car in front of me turns off, so i down shift and smoke his *** ( and i did smoke him because i could tell he was trying to catch up, it wasnt one of those ricer races where one guys gunning it and the other doesnt know whats going on) Then i had to slow down because i came behind another car, and the *** starts tailgating me again... wow.


then i get home and my dad takes the 330ci to teh store and i go out in a neon srt-4. On my way back home, im driving, and this ****ing SUV starts tail gating me with his high beams on and ****. There was a car in front of me so i start driving real slow to get some space, and then gun it. This one wasnt a race cuz the other car was a SUV i was just trying to get away from the *******. Within a few seconds im right behind the car in front of me, and the SUV is like 2 bus lengths back. 15 seconds later the *** catches up and starts doing the same thing.


GAAAAAAAH i just wanna get out of the car and go punch some drivers in the mouth.

 

you have no idea how many jagoffs i run into every day that do that. Apparently doing the speed limit or 5 over is not enough? I go 50 in a 45 and people pile up behind me and fly past me looking at me like i'm an idiot.

I dunno if I would want to risk having my mustang get hit by a dumba$s by brake checking him. Who knows if they might just hit and run or not have insurance.

 

I dont brake check, just because I am afraid they wont be able to stop, but I simply take my foot off the gas and allow the car to slow down. Then they either get the point, or try to pass, and I smoke them. Then repeat as necessary.

 

I have such a bad temper about that stuff, how does he expect you to go faster when blocked in? Brake checking used to be an option for me, but I'm getter older now, I turn 40 this July. I've taken many long trips on the interstate, and have had this problem a lot. Despite my old age I still have an ego and hate to give in to a tailgater, especially after I proved I can blow him away.

What I've learned to do is give in and let them pass. It's painful for a couple of seconds, but then you can feel relaxed. You are now in power. You can be the a-hole and tailgate if you choose to (I choose not to), or you can lay back a little, wait for traffic to open up, and smoke him again. Or you can just focus on your stereo and forget about him. I know it's hard in the heat of the moment, but I think a lot of the road rage incidents can be curbed if people just think ahead.

 

I think that going 5 over the speed limit is a reasonable thing to do (especially if you can't afford a ticket like me), but if there are people that are all going the same speed 3 wide or however many lanes there is, then it causes an inconvenience to the people who might be in a hurry somewhere. Personally I think the left lane should always be reserved as the fast lane and people who go the speed limit should stay in the other lanes. I sometimes tailgate people if they are going under the speed limit (especially old people) but I never tailgate someone who is going 5 over.

 

Yeah, they suck, my dad used to call them Butt-pirates, suites them well, i think.

 

I could see putting a little heat on people going way too slow in the left passing lane.

 

My car is a 5spd and I drive it just fine but it really annoys me when I stop a redlight on a steep incline and some ******* literally gets within inches of my back bumper. This happens to me just about everyday. It makes me wonder who's fault it would be if an inexperianced driver in a manual rolled back on someone at a stop light that was so close.
