It was so funny, he took of at a light, and i didn't see him, so i caught up to him and he looked at me, and i did the same then droped it in 2nd and left his @$$, then we got a light and i actually knew the kid (i hate this kid) so we were at the light, it turned green and i toasted him so bad! it was so funny.... i am really only happy cuz its my first win and i know the kid! lol

how much hp do rx-8 have?

 

The 2006 has around 225-232ish horsepower with a six-speed tranny. It'll do 0-60 in around 6.0 seconds....don't know about 1/4 times though. I must say I love the way those cars look. Good kill though!!

 

Was his RX8 modded or stock? That should have been a closer race, they are lighter, 0-60 time is same as yours. The only bad thing is his torque, its like 170 or something.

A stock RX8 is not a close race for a 05/06 GT, or even a new edge GT. 14.8s or so is what i have heard.

 

I'm not impressed at all by the RX8s. I know when they first came out the manuals were rated at 238hp and the automatics at 190hp, not too sure about tq. I'm not crazy about the way they look either....reminds me of a big june bug.

 

its nothing but a handling machine. Just don't race one on a curvy road.

 

no offense to your car, but the RX-8's SUCK !!! totally hyped up, over nothing. they suck. plain and simple. they tried to remake the RX-7 and failed considerably. the Renesis rotaries suck. the Wankel's, AWESOME. damn near indestructible. but, congrats on the win

 

haha. i remember when them rx8's first came out. the power they were rated and advertised at was nowhere near what they really had. mazda was offering to buy them back from owners at the full MSRP if the owner wanted.

they do look hot though. everything but the back.
