Yeah I thought so. Ive ran 12.5's with my 3.73's I just changed to 4.10's and was going to run this morning for the first time but it was raining.

I want to race one before I do my engine swap and other stuff.

I did race a 99 cobra but it wasn't really close.

Don't feel bad HAV.. I'm in your shoes as well.. Its just sick to think 03/04 Cobras came w/ SOOOO much power.. I want that so bad.. But, I bought what I could afford and don't get me wrong, I got a nice ride.. I just wish it would have 400 HP.. I own a house, have a wife, kid, bills and wife stays home so our kid is raised right.. I'm glad I have a solid family life but dam I need a SC'er to eat SS's like that!

Oh well.. [sm=smiley19.gif]

Im in the same spot (minus kids) as you are Twigbert... house payment, car payment (on her jeep), bills, etc. Makes modding it more difficult when you have other things to spend your money on besides just your car.

I still want to play with an LS1 like that though.. might have to go cheap and get the spray [8D]

Damnit Dan.. making me feel all inferior again

Nice kill.

I've yet to race a 03/04 cobra, street or track. I wonder how I would stack up.
if he is stock and you don't put a bus length on him i will be surprised. im NA and i can keep up with a stock one easily. with gears AND blower you should be able to knock it down a LOT lower than 12.5 in the 1/4, assuming traction

Only 03/04 Cobra's that I have run against were both 15 second cars driven by morons.

If he had the SLP loudmouth catback, I never liked the way they sounded on an LS1. Much better on an LT1 especially when not on the rich stock tune.

15 second cobra[&:] i think that might have been a split V-6

Well with the stock 3.73's 12.5 is about right. With the 4.10's I think I should be able to pull one pretty easy. Only one way to find out, just haven't had the chance to get next to one. I though I had one with the 99 but as soon as I smoked him I reliaze what year it was.

I hope next week is nicer, I hope to hit 11.99 in stock 20' tires,.

I never have to much trouble getting traction in this car, I ve gotten a good feel for it.

I kinda like the way my g/f's car sounds with the SLP Loudmouth, it's a lot cleaner-sounding than my longtubes and cutout (can you say "rasp"?). Not as good a sound as a Mustang, but still...
Anyway, good kill.
