no no, they were both indeed 03 cobra's. Both of them red, one stock and one with some form of exhaust. I have slips somewhere from when I was matched with them. I think at one point the one guy finally hit a high 14, but most of the times he was running 15.2 or 15.3. I ran the one guy probably 5 or 6 times over about 3 different trips to the track. The other guy was only there once. There comes a point when there needs to be a law where I can just go over to him, kick him in the nuts and take his car away..

ya know, someone who would DESERVE it, and drive it the way its meant to be. and not run f**kin 15's in a 390hp underrated car. i could run 15's in MY car. maybe high 14's.

Well with the stock 3.73's 12.5 is about right. With the 4.10's I think I should be able to pull one pretty easy. Only one way to find out, just haven't had the chance to get next to one. I though I had one with the 99 but as soon as I smoked him I reliaze what year it was.
I hope next week is nicer, I hope to hit 11.99 in stock 20' tires,.
I never have to much trouble getting traction in this car, I ve gotten a good feel for it.

So, I'm out cruising around last night, it's a nice cool night out, not much traffic around town... wasn't a whole lot going on so I was thinking about heading home when a Red SS is across from me at a light. It turned green and he u-turned to get behind me. Once I saw he u-turned, I knew what he wanted to do. So I lead the way out of town onto a 4 lane highway.
I pulled out and let him get besides me doing about 15 mph and we roll down our windows and he asks to run from a 30mph roll, because "I think I can win from a roll". I just smirked and said "Okay". So we pulled up to 30mph, I'm in 2nd gear and I tell him to start when he wants. We cruised for about 5 seconds at 30mph and he went WOT, it took all of half a second before I started to shoot out past him and proceeded to put lengths and lengths on him up to about 90mph. So he flashes his lights on and off to let me know he gave up. He catches back up to me and proceeds to say he popped out of 2nd gear...hah okay. So I tell him to run from 1st gear this time, from a 15mph roll.
So we drop down to 15mph and I tell him to start again. He jumps pretty hard and I roll into 1st so I don't fry the tires off. I was at his back bumper and I quickly pulled up to his front bumper, wheel hopping just a little, eased into 2nd and proceeded to pull out hard, shifted into 3rd and the bus lengths were about to arrive again and he suddenly stops. So we slow down again and he said to me "You only beat me by a car length or two that time". I said "Man, I was still pulling you hard and you just quit". So he looks at me like I'm full of crap...
I'm not one to drive really fast on public roads, but I figured since it was 12:30, on an absolutely dead 4 lane highway, all this time we've spent talking and racing and a single car hasn't gone past us, I'd run him at some higher speeds. So I tell him to race from 15mph to 120 this time, he agrees it's a good idea because "my top end pulls so hard". Hah, okay.
So I let him start the race, this time I actually got decent traction in first and shot out past his front bumper, eased into 2nd and proceeded to pull out a bunch of cars, get into 3rd just kept pulling and pulling, he was so far back I couldn't even begin to estimate how far, powershifted into 4th really hard, ran up to 120 and quit.
Anyways, we slow back down and pull into a rest stop and he starts telling me how it's the first 03/04 Cobra he lost to. Hah!
