well, i may get flamed for this, but, w/e. he WAS trying. trust me.

so, my friends over and we were bored. we decided to go race for fun. havent raced him in this car yet, since i was in school for a year. well, we go race. we're doing a "3 honk and go". hes honking. so, 1...2...3, we both punch it. we both spin thru 1st. i chirp 2nd, hes pulling on me, i go to 3rd, and i start catching him a lil bit, then he pulls away some. by the time we let off, he "only" had @ 3-4 car lengths on me. well, found out 1) why i started "gaining" on him, and 2) why he started to just automatically leave me....i was "catching" him b/c going into 3rd, he said he "hesitated" since he hasnt been able to hit 3rd lately(i was missing 2nd in his car, he was missing 3rd AND 4th)...and he started leaving me b/c his cable throttle got "stuck". but, either way, it was just for fun. nonetheless, i have WAY more kills than losses, so, its all good. plus, hes one of my best friends, so, all is good.

and his car: '91 GT, 349 stroker with 4.10's and Tremec trans(3550). lets just say...."its worth $35k". haha. and if it matters, my car: '92 GT, just crossed 160k miles. flowmaster exhaust, Pro 5.0 shifter, flex fan........bbk cold-air kit.

no. not accidentally. he knows better than to "toy" with me. he knows that i wont talk to him if he "lets me keep up". i dont do that sh*t. if youre gonna beat me, beat me. plain and simple. plus, hes not one to do that. he may "sleep", then "play catch up", but, he wont let ANYBODY win. unless its a best of 3 or w/e. me and him. one race. whoever wins, wins. thats the way it always is. plus, he really isnt used to this car. his other car he had(with same engine/tranny/etc)....JEEBUS. hed RAPE me in that car. plus, this car is setup for drag racing. he really isnt used to it yet. give him a couple months, and it'll be rape once again. haha

I meant he let off before shifting, and you were reeling him in, then his accelerator got stuck so HE didnt really beat you. His car drove itself

hey where are you located wrx?

I wouldnt mind a shot at that WRX, me on motor. We make VERY similar numbers, both torque and HP.
