eh, the new ones aren't that bad. "scrming" ran a 13.1 in his with a 100shot (maybe 125?) and otherwise minor work.

older ones? POS. i had a 97, and i lost to a bone stock auto 02 civic from a dig...three times...in a row...then an early 90's 4cyl ranger...from a dig and a roll...then i resorted to just putting a system in it and never racing again.

 

I killed a Del Sol once in 2004, with a bone-stock 1999 6-cyl Mustang I had at the time (until I began to question my manhood when I drove it)...and I had a 145lb passenger (I was about 220). The other car had a passenger also, and he was in my military unit at the time...so I asked that guy what was up w/ his friend...he explained "yeah, that guy spent about $5500 on his kit/paint/vinyl/wing/doors, and did nothing performance-wise...nothing at all..."

I dont know what kind of times a stock 6-cyl '99 Mustang can run in the 1/4, but its gotta be slow, and the Del Sol is slower.
