Default driving fast

was out cruising tonite and nobody wanted to play with me except a posse of 3 trucks. after that i got on the highway and there was a long stretch of open road, so i got on the gas. well, my speedo only goes up to 85, so i have no idear how fast i was going. i let off at 5500 in 4th(was comming up fast on a car ahead of me). is there a formula that tells speed by rpm¿ i gauged my speed in other gears...in 2nd at 6000rpm=66mph...4500 in 3rd=76mph....2500 in 4th was 55mph. ive got a tko 5spd with 3.55 rear end gears and 17 inch wheels.

You'll have to work it backwards though. I am sure there are others out there so try an internet search.

BTW, don't forget to put you tire size into the calculator to determine the OD of the tire.

With 245/50R17's you'd be ruuning about 125MPH with 3.55 gears @ 5500revs.

he let off in 4th man, obviously hes got another gear to go if he wanted [8D]

125mph in 4th is pretty damn fast

my AOD barely lets me touch 115mph in 3rd with 3.27's

of course it shifts before 5k though, give me a shift kit and ill do 130 in 3rd [8D]
