Sounds good. those were the only years of the suby that were not *** ugly (imo anyway). If only the STI had the looks of the older 2.5 I would like it much more.

 

as far as the body roll and the car being stock....... my car has 90/10 lakewood struts and 50/50 shocks, and an eibach drag kit, my car handles FAR worse than it did around corners than the stock suspension did.......

 

Well since his car wasn't fast at all I could only hope that he didn't throw a ton of money into a drag suspension setup.

 

I really like the oldschool Imprezas, but the new ones are starting to grow on me. I'm not really fond of the huge wing and hood scoop for a daily driver - too much unwanted attention for my taste and driving habits, but for a 3rd or 4th car it'd be fun.

yes, the 2002 an dup imprezas are ugly. i want a 2 door coupe version without sound deadening and light wheels! kinda like the evo rs.

 

1998/99 16x7" OEM alloys are 16.5 lbs
2000/01 16x7" OEM alloys are 16 lbs
2002/03 16x6.5" OEM alloys are 17 lbs irc

And to be honest I don't know if the ones on the 04+ are the same as the 03's - not paying attention anymore.
