uh. evos are low 13 second cars. I dont see how a 4.6 or a 5.0 anywhere near stock can touch one.

 

Atually, stock Evos are high 13 second cars with a good driver. I've seen planty of Evos not launch hard and run consistent mid 14s. It is all in the launch for the Evo. A new GT would take it in the 1/4 and easily from a roll, a 99-04 could probably take it from a roll, but not in the 1/4.

 

my friend raced an evo 9 from a roll in his mid-late year 2001 Gt and got his a$$ completely handed to him. Ive seem what those things can do.

yea I know someone who just turned 17 and got a brand new evo 9 for his b-day. he wont race me though, I asked. hes not arrogant, he just doesnt know how to drive it yet and wants to put 3k on the OD before racing it.

 

shall I be the only one to say roll racing is for pussies lol. If this was about a SRT-4 beating a 03 GT from a roll everyone would have said this like 10 times by now

 

I dont like roll racing either. but i wasnt the one who raced him from a roll. however, I do think AWD cars are for pussies when it comes to drag racing. dump the clutch and go!

 

its not like this was much of a race anyways. he downshifted into 2nd for probably 3 seconds, missed the shift to 3rd, but didnt matter anyways, cuz the evo had already put a car on him
