We both rolled into them and we stayed side by side? Short roll on but 25- 40 or so mph. Looked it up and it's like almost 400 HP. Is that right? Thought they where 6 cyl?

i just looked them up. those things are slow as hell.

 

my step dad has two of the ssr's and i smoked his DD. Never raced his signature series. They are 5.3liter engines except the brand new one's which are 6.0 6speed.

 

Well I didn`t know anything about them?

 

They arent slow by any means but the 1 you raced could have been s/charged i know my step dad has a s/charger ordered so they are available.

 

from 05 on they ran low 14's prior to that they were slow. 7.7 sec to 60 mph with a 15.9 s/86.4 mph quarter mile times...

 

The figures I've seen are low 15's and high 13's. They went from the 300 hp 5.3L and a mandatory automatic to the 400 hp 6.0L LS2 and an optional 6-speed. I don't know how to tell the difference by looking at them.

 

i was under the empression that one modle had the vette engine in it but they are slow because of the metal vert top they have makes them heavy as hell

 

i dont know about the vette engine but i do know the top is HEAVY AS HELL you take the whole assembly out with an engine hoist!

 

yeah those ssr's are tanks.
