Run in with Chevy SSR
I ran with on on 95 South, and they are not slow...We were running neck to neck all the way up to 145mph. We had to slow down because of traffic. I don't know how they are from a dig but rolling along they are pretty fast. My car was bone stock when this took place. Now he would be in my rearview mirror with my mods.......
There is one way to tell whether an SSR is an '05 or older. The 2006 has a GM emblem about one square inch in size and is grey in color (GM is now fitting these things on Caddies, Vettes , SSR's etc.) The emblem on my Vette is located on the lower portion of the quarter panel just before the rear wheel well (both sides). That's how you can tell an '06 from previous model years.
front facia too right?....got a pick?...

The figures I've seen are low 15's and high 13's. They went from the 300 hp 5.3L and a mandatory automatic to the 400 hp 6.0L LS2 and an optional 6-speed. I don't know how to tell the difference by looking at them.

from 05 on they ran low 14's prior to that they were slow. 7.7 sec to 60 mph with a 15.9 s/86.4 mph quarter mile times...
