Default me vs. modded r32

was getting off the highway on the way to pick my buddy up and in the left lane is an r32 with a body kit and duals. i look over and the driver gave me a blank look and i just kept with him at green. i heard his BOV and he downshifted, i floored it into 2nd and we were dead even i hit 3rd and pulled a car on him and he turned off.

my cars not that quick but for a 4 banger that thing moved...

Are you talking about a VW R32?

An R32 is a V6... and it comes stock NA. I don't think you heard a BOV because it would have absolutely wasted your 5.0 if it was pushing even 7 psi. Last I knew they were in the 14s stock.

a turbod v6 would have killed me

not sure if its an r32 i just looked up the pics on google and thats wat it looked like

golf with duals he had 3 ppl in it. that thing was screaming tho i had my window down and i was in the right lane he was in the left. my car was edging near 5k and i could hear him shift into 3rd and it was still even then i hit 3rd and got ahead.

i kinda had a late start too seeing how i went after he already down shifted. if i started off in the power band i think i would have pulled in the start.

none the less he gave me a run for my money, i was impressed.

looked just like this, same color

Could've just been a 1.8T with the R32 body. I raced one too a few weeks ago. I thought it was an R32 too but I talked to a guy that I work with that goes to all the VW meets and he told me that a buddy of his told him that he got beat by a White Fox with a turbo. (that would be me ) But the body and wheels were the R32 style. I talked to my buddy and he said that it was all the R32 stuff, just on a GTi 1.8T. Little fugger was runnin though.

2 of my friends own audi 1.8t's and ive beat them both.

no way this car was stock. no badges on it, only the big VW badge on the back. it had 2 big tips coming out the back and i could hear that BOV from a mile away.

i think he was expecting to win cause he looked over and kinda gave me a wave as if he was saying goodbye. when i passed him i gave him a peace sign and he pulled off. heh

its funny cus i bet all the ppl in the back were sayin "u just lost to a ford"

wish i had someone in the car so i could say "i just beat a $20,000 car"

Golfs are not light the stock gtis weigh around 3100-3200 and it is more for the R32. And if this thing was an R32 with a turbo or sc then you would have seen nothing but his exhaust tips.
