actually not to brag but I just got one for my winter driver with a V8
not much for the color but the interior is freaking gorgeous and the V8 is a bit touchy... not used to luxury cars
like when I go out of the hole fast (not racing just seeing what it's got) it is very sluggish, and then when 2nd hits the pickup is very similar to my GT, but the gears are a bit different it seems like it takes so little time for the auto to shift it goes through first second and third like it was in a hurry to...
another thing I noticed is the brake is VERY touchy... if you just lightly feather it it will start slowing down and when you keep it at the same pressure it will slow down harder and harder... it's almost like it knows there is a car in front of it..

Yeah, I couldn't tell what year it was. He had just bought it though, mighta been used. When we got off the freeway he was sitting there peeling out and telling the guy next to him something at the light...

yeah, they have the 4.6 in them. theyre not that quick. i messed with one about a 2 months ago on my way to work from a light. no competition. i was honestly shocked. i thought id be seeing his taillights. i had a good day that day.

The Lincoln LS has 2 optional engines in it.. a V6 and a V8 - I know this because i was in the market to buy one... the V8 models can hold thier own, heavy as heck though. most people don't actually realize though that the new S197, is built on the same platform as the Lincoln LS, and Thunderbird... ever wonder why the S197s ride as smooth as a luxury car??
