the carrera gt is a 400K car, v10, and would run high 11's. It'd be awful hard to run w/ one on street tires in any mustang.

 

If I were running a 99 Mustang GT, with 8lbs of boost and a 3.73 gear, with the same tires the Carrera GT has in the rear, Id run mid 11's, which is enough to keep up with or even beat the carrera, and with the computer speed limiter removed, I could cruise right on up to 180 with it on a track. The carrera handles better, but really, with compareable suspensioncomponents, and ground clearence, and maybe some add on body panels (Cobra R peices, air dam, valence, wing) I believe honestly that the mustang would rape the Porsche...for way over 300 thousand dollars less.</P>

 

Isn't it funny how all the same people jump all over every message always knowing the right answers and everyone else who thinks they know the answer is wrong in their book?
