We raced one last night in my buddies '01 Acura, it's got a 3.2L, I can't remember the trim level, it's a nice car though. The one he raced wasn't even an SS and still hung with him pretty well, until we hit 50'ish, then we just started to walk him. My friends car is an auto, I couldn't tell about the Slowbalt.

Personally, I think they're the fastest, g golly darnest, coolest cars produced. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Cobalt!

 

They are not as fast as some would like us to believe, at best 14.4 seems to be as good as it gets.

I think we should just lay this to rest... if a bunch of retards wouldn't have came in and ruined the outlook on the car for us it would be somewhat decent... and Cody has a stage 2 in his, I don't really know the numbers of one with a stage 2, but tofu has some pretty decent proof that they can be pretty slick with a little work... I'm not on either side here... I just think we should be posting vids of fast as hell stangs and not adding fuel to the fire by posting slow-mo cobalts and saying haha told you so like little 3 year olds... If they want to come in and sound like retards... let them.. ROTM and the gang can take care of that...

i HATE bench racing, but, how do you guys think my '92 GT would do against a stock Cobalt SS ?? ive got flowmasters, bbk cold-air, Pro 5.0 and a flex fan. 162k miles. still runs good tho ive never legally raced, YET, which should happen soon, but, i did beat a friend of mine with a civic hatch who ran a 9.96(1/8mile of course) by 3/4 cars......i AM going to run my car. even if its just once. any takers on this question ? and i CAN drive.

 

I would say you probly got him. My buddy has a 5.0 with basically the same mods differant brands but the same mods, he can beat them but he can also launch his car like there is no tomarrow.

 

i CAN.......but when i race my friends, i get too anxious and spin out too much. well, at least my v8 friends anyway. haha. Honda's, i HOOK THE F**K UP !!!. i dont get it......when i race people from a light or something, i dont spin. i just hook. yet, when i race my friends at night....i spin like crazy. i need to get my anxiety level down when i race.
