This is an honest to god no bias post, cause I posted every SINGLE 1/4 mile race I could find of a "stock cobalt SS" that posted a ET. Acutally I posted pretty much all of them except a one I saw that was going 12.0 (Extreme modifications).

So much for it being a 14.0 car eh? If yuo can find a better than about 14.50 race in a stock coblat I would like to see it :

I've seen a stock one run a couple times, 14.4 was best I saw.

 

14.4 is pretty decent for a stock Slugbolt SS

looks like the average is high 14's. Not all that fast.

I ran a 14.8 when I missed 3rd gear. Big deal.

My old 94 Probe GT with its K&N air filter may have been able to beat those two 15+ sec. Cobalts.
