500SL?
My ex's sister just bought a '93 500SL Benz vert and it looks real clean with only 35k miles. I know nothing about the car and nor does she but she mentioned taking it out to a country road and lining up with me just for fun. What do these have in them stock and what should I expect to run against it? I have a '90 notch w/aod and 4.10 gear and full exhaustc and CAI.

i just checked, they're low 15s (high 14s with very good drivers) always seem to be around 95-96mph. it's a 315hp 5.0l engine but they're pretty heavy luxury cars... i don't now if they made them in mtx but all i could find were 4spd autos.

Its 300HP or so. Its a 5.0L V-12, they were available witha 6spd manual trans or a 4 or 5 spd auto. I think itll be a good race, seeing as your car is basically bone stock with the exception of CAI and exhaust. It might even take you, depending on how fast you guys are gonna go. Itll definitly take you in the top end. Just my .02.
I raced one a few years ago, I took em pretty easy, but then again I smoke Cobras pretty easy too.

The 500 is a 5.0L V8. The 600 is a 6.0L V-12.
