so i get off work tonight and im walking to my car. there is a cop that just walked out of the coffee shop just in front of me. so i hit my alarm to open it up. the cop looked at me for a second (i thought he was gonna hastle me for my tint) then he was like hey thats a nice ride you got there, how do you like it. i was like i love it. he then told me he just recently bought a new GT as well. we ended up talkin in the parking lot for about 20 minutes just about mods and shops and stuff. super cool cop, he even told me where to go to get some illegal stuff done and where to go to pass my car in smog when that time comes. i guess some cops can be cool guys

 

Lol! I had a cop pull me over cause I didn't have my front liscence plate on. Bull, he wanted to look at my car. He also said sweet car so that confirmed it.

 

i backed into a spot in th eside of the parking lot once and there was a chp sitting there talking with someone next to his car. when i got out, he said "nice car, way to park it out of the way of the idiots....but ya might want to get that front plate back on before you get pulled over at an inconvenient time or when ya might have something goin on that you wouldn want a cop to know about. have a nice day son"

LOL. Sure. He pulled you over to look at a car that there are 20 of on every Ford dealers lot. HAHAHA...I don't know where you '05 guys come up with this stuff.

I've been pulled over in cars that were all loud and cackling, and the cop told me it was badass...While he was writing the ticket.

 

wow the front plate. I don't know how they hassel because of that. My car came stock without a front plate and i know how the GT's have the indent but mine does not. I've never even been asked about the front plate. I have been pulled over in my contour SVT before and been told by a cop that my car is nice and if i keep speeding i'll get speeding tickets(at this time i have had like 5 speeding tickets, so if he would've looked up my record he would've been writing me a ticket).

 

What do you mean that your car came stock without a front plate? My car came without any plates... Some states require a front plate. Illinois being one of them. If you don't have one, they will pull you over, and give you a ticket.

 

lol, my car came "stock" with no front license plate as well. I had to "special order" them from the DMV. yup, special order.

my car also came "stock" with no driver, but I fixed that before I even got off the lot.

I find it unbelievable that a cop would risk his life to pull someone over just to look at their car. Not to mention that I'd be pissed off if some stupid cop did that to me. waste of my time and my taxes.

 

yeah you know how the GT's have the indent and anything mustang i see has an indent for the front plate and mine is a solid front bumper no indent at all so if i ever get pulled over i'll just say it never came with one stock so it should be allowed.

 

that's gonna be one of those excuses that make the bulletin board at the station.

 

I know the GT's have the indent for it, but no cars come drilled for a front plate from the factory. They're supposed to drill them, and hang the plate at the dealer. You'll still get the ticket. Just because they didn't drill your car for a plate doesn't mean the cop is going to care.
