its possible....i raced my friends 98 v6 camaro auto with me and a friend in the car and he was by himself and i beat him by like a car or so.

 

damn lol, all of these v-6 kills...kill me! damn people lol look at the statistic's it's not possible... the camaro v-6 is pushing a 3.8 liter 200 hp rwd engine with one person... ok, now the stang is running
w/ 190 hp with 4 people in the car? do you realize how much weight that adds? even if the people we're 100 lbs a piece that's still 400 lbs extra now being realistic we'll give them 150 a piece, thats 600lbs added... unless he was a MT and missed a shift you should have lost... and badly...

Well he said that he just bought the vehicle, and he said that he had duels, so there already could be some work done to the car that he doesnt know about, but yea, that does sound a little fishy. Hey, if it happened, good on him.

well you said you have duals, so you never know what else could be done to the car already. like dan said, its a drivers race. but compared to most people on this site, watching two v6 pony cars race eachother is probably really boring to the v8 guys but who cares!

 

yea, drivers race between a 3800 and a NPI GT, the 3800s with either the 4L60-E or 5 speed are high 14 or low 15 second cars with a good driver, the V-6 stang is a mid-high 15 - low 16 second car and the 4R70 POS tranny sucks

 

Lol, no I have never actually raced one, my g/f has a 2001 camaro v-6 that I have driven sometimes and they are no slackers...
