yeah thats what i was saying he couldn't hook on the first run and then on the second one it looked pretty even. So if this guy could get his launch down he would be good. I have never warmed up my nittos and i hook eveytime just fine so i don't even see the bother of warming them.

I had the chance to run one on the highway a year ago. I was surprised because he was the one who provoked the race. I was able to beat him which made my day because it was my first kill in the Cobra.
AMG has a new V8 that's naturally aspirated. It makes less torque then the current mill but HP is up as well as the RPM it makes peak power. They rev pretty high for a V8 and should be screamers. The new AMG E Class is called the E63. Another thing is watch out for anything that has a Brabus or Renntech badge.

im sitting in the mcdonalds parking lot eating my food when i see a silver e55 stop at the light, me being the troblemake that i am, i pull out the lot and pull next to the guy and tell him to roll his window down, i ask "do u run that thing?" he say not really, so i ask, "do u wanna run that thing" he dosent respond, he just rolls his window up and puts his car in reverse, "???????????????" is this guy serious. the light turns green, so i take off, not too fast, just enough to see if he is racing, he takes off, i give full throttle now, i already have like a 3 car lead, then out of nowhere i hear some crazy ROARRR!!!!! this guy flys right next to me as if i were standing still, then waves to me and takes off. i had to be doing about 80mph while he did all of this. Kinda killed my ego

I can see your disbelief in my kill but I honestly did beat the guy. I posted a while back on a race with a new V10 M5 in which we were pretty close. I was able to pull on him during the 2nd run. Mind you if I was to go all out against either of those two cars on a long stretch of highway and their limiters were removed I'd loose. Watched that test drive show on Speed over the weekend and they were beating on a bunch of new BMW M models and they had a M5 up to 196. He said he probably would have hit 200 had traffic not pulled in front of him. [:@] I'm pretty certain the E55 is capable of 180+ easily.
