You mean a GT that wants credit for a K&N air filter. Stock for stock they are about even, when modded the turbo makes the things ridiculously fast, and cheaply. Any car that comes with Forced Induction can be made fast for cheap, but I don't care if "SRT-4's" ran 10's they are still a glorified Neon and I wouldn't want one. The guy that did my tuning has a neon that he says he put roughly 1100 into and from a roll he can beat a pullied 03/04 Cobra. What would you rather pull into your driveway each night?

This is funny. Everytime there's a death post on here about 4s, it's "don't worry those things can be fuggin quick"
Two days later a kill post is made about a 4 and "Yeah those things are slow piles of **** it stood no chance against my pulled and full bolt on Cobra."

Isnt the SI a glorfied...acutally...istn it just a civic?...that runs 14s?....like the "glorfied" 94 cobra i used to own ran in...1994? JUST double checking
PS. before u get it twisted and thinking im dissing your personal car, im not, youve mentioned why u bought an SI and its cool but...i mean come on. Saying a cobra is glorfied v6 stang is like comparing an apple to an apple field....theres just so much more.

Second, my comment was in response to saying that the SRT4 is a glorified Neon. Much like the Cobra, the SRT4 shares ONLY THE PLATFORM with the regular 2nd Generation Neons. It's a completely different animal engine/transmission/exhaust/interior/options wise, much like the Cobra is compared to a V6.
Just trying to get some people to stop talking outta their butts for a change.

Either way, I couldn't care less what other people think about MY accomplishment. If you can't appreciate a fast car, that's your problem.

any car can be made fast. u can probally do some kind of b-motor-turbo-super-duper civic hatch setup that when all is said and done will run 11's, for under 10 grand. but let me ask you this: does that make it cool?

Either way, I couldn't care less what other people think about MY accomplishment. If you can't appreciate a fast car, that's your problem.
ahhh good point. touche. what i meant was, theres more to cars then just making them as fast as possible.

Any if it's any consulation mic. The worst beating i've taken at the track this year was from a primered up 80's Mustang with 20 grand work of go fast parts bolted up. I hate mustangs................just kidding
