Launching a stick
When you launch at a drag strip, trying to get a rolling start is kind of not an option if you want to get a good 60' time. You just need to nail the right launch so you get off the line as quick as possible instead of slowly rolling and then getting on it.
Here's a couple examples,
1.) Launching @4500rpm (approx.)

I'm still learning ofcoarse but you guys are right, its hopping or it bogging...

its not really a rolling start. u gotta get it moving a TINY BIT for the smallest fraction of a second; and your available traction will increase tenfold. all said, it will make for a fine 60' time. unless ur on DR's, bad idea.
