btw...320 was the torque figure for the latter models...not the hp number.

Gotta love supras. Been one of my dream cars for a while. Im sure if it had turbos he probably would of heard them/it. I was with my dad a few years back when he had his 91 GT 5.0 that was dynoed at about 450 hp, we were out cruising and we had a black supra pull up next to us. My dad being the guy he is revved on him not knowing what it was. I looked over at my dad and asked him if he knew what he was revving at. His words were "some ricer", so I just laughed at him and say... "Dad thats a supra". As soon as my dad revved, the dude revved at him and I could here is turbo winding. All I can say is my dad had no chance, it was even for about 50 feet and then the supra was gone.
My dad asked me later on what was so special about them so I pointed him to a site with info about them and told him they are mean *** imports and that I wouldnt **** with them unless you knew what the guy had. Ended up I saw the guy at the mall a few weeks later and asked him what he had, he popped the hood and I was in awe. The thing that set it off was the T78 turbo which was the first thing that caught my eye. We talked for a while and went our own ways. I see him around town quiet a bit, but since then he said he doesnt race it much anymore because he did alot more upgrades and wanted to keep it in showroom condition, because we all know how expensive supras are nowdays, since that damn fast and furious bull****. I wanted a supra way before that movie and that movie made it impossible for me to get one on my budget.
Oh and the guy in the supra is now running about 750hp. He says he only had about 525 then. But then again he also had the FAST *** SPOOLING T78 Single Turbo.
