a monte carlo has a good 800+ lbs on a mustang

it really depends how the car is tuned and setup

ive seen a monte with a 409 running 16's and there is a guy with an LS7 running mid 11's

and stock they got the L69 with the 4 barrel quadrajet.. 180hp.. maybe 160 to the wheels? they are PIGS!!

well stock his car had a 305 in it thats why i said it had a 355 swap in it but i was just surprised that my car took it cause he is making more horsepower than i am.

also i thought we would weigh about the same since i own a 95 and they about 3500+

oh you definitely have a weight advantage

hes got more than 50 cubes on you, not to mention it's a full framed g-body with a heavy steel body. I wouldn't be surprised if it weighed over 4000lbs without him in it.

gears didnt really help u, montes have 3.79's from the factory (if he still has the 7.5" rearend)

alot of people swap in the GN 8.5" rearend with 3.55's

and he would need alot of work to make 400hp. the ZZ crate motor dosnt even make that much...

he was probably bs'ing you
