One of my close friends has an 05' SRT-4. It has an intake, motor mounts, and a 3' downpipe. He installed his downpipe about 3 months ago. We race A LOT! Pretty much every time we pull up next to each other. Before he put in his downpipe, we'd go back and forth. I'd beat him, he'd beat me. In the last 3 months (since his downpipe has been installed), I haven't been able to beat him. .. So on Friday we're going to a side road where a bunch of racers meet up every weekend and race. We pull up next to eachother in a left turning lane. After making the turn, we kept in in first on a roll going about 15mph. I honked 3 times and we got on it! I chirped second, ahead of him by half a car. Shifted to 3rd, still have him by half a car. We got into 4th going about 115mph before he let off. I had him by a half a car the entire time. I was STUPID JUICED when I beat him. Especially since I'm all stock with just a K&N air filter. It was a good run. ......Literally, about 10 seconds after racing (I was still slowing to a stop), I look to my left and there's a cop. Look to my right, there's two more cops. Look behind them and there's two motorcycle cops with two more cops off to the side of the road. .....Luckily, THEY DIDN'T CATCH US!!! They had a little trap waiting for us to come and race with the 30+ cars we usually come with. WE GOT LUCKY!
