I usually don't race, but I was driving through an industrial park today for a ride when I saw a blue focus coming up on me. I figured it was just some kid messing around with a Focus his parents bought for him....


Turned out he caught up to me and wanted to race for fun. Figuring it's just a little focus, I wanted to race from a stand still...but he didn't. So what the hell, we went from a 40 roll. We both signaled we were ready, we both hit it. I pull a car length, slowly he pulls past me and we cut out at 110. He beat me by 2 1/2 car lengths. SO at this point im wondering what the hell just happened. He points over and we pulled over and talked. Turned out he had a 2003 SVT Focus w/ a 75 shot of juice. ****! Stupid me, I should have asked what he had before we raced. So we talked for a couple more minutes then I asked if we could race again. So we lined up for a 40 roll again, but this time I turned my nitrous on. We both hit it and I pulled like a M'fer off of him this time. We shut it off at 110 again and he waved and turned off.


It was a fun race and I really should pay more attention to details.

Wow, he got you by 2 1/2 cars. With or without NOS, that's impressive. But in the end, he knows whose the boss.

 

Yeah, I didn't think I needed to use the Nitrous on the first run. Guess I was wrong! lol
