Default Who should win?

Hey guys, my cars in sig, and i had a quick question. My buddy wants to bet me $300 that i will lose a race to one of our other friends that has a 2004 Audi 1.8T Quattro. Its chipped somewhere between 18-20 PSI of boost, lowered, and straight piped. He blew out his orignal clutch shifting from 6th to 3rd on the freeway a few months ago, and now he doesnt even want to race anybody from a stop because hes scared to launch it. So, from a first gear roll at 15-20, or a 40 roll in 2nd, who should win? If my current mods arent enough, would gears and DR's get me there? What else would i need? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I know i only gained 5-8 rwhp maybe from the exhaust, so im pretty close to stock. Also, assume that my driving is very good.

Oops i just realized it said $300 in orignal.. its supposed to be $30 [&:] But thanks for the responses.. i've had some the people tell me that i should win by a car or two, some say i'll lose by 2-4 cars, and some say its a driver's race.. i know 18-20 psi is alot, but im trying to see what mods i need before i put down my cash. I just did my exhaust a week ago and i have a lot more planned withing the next year, and i know the question may sound stupid, but im just trying to see if i should hold off till i get F/I. Thanks.

Even in a 1.8? I don't thank so but I could be very wrong on this one. The 1.8 is not that fast stock, but I don't know how much boost is stock

My wife's passat has the 1.8t. It is rated at 170 HP on a stock 7 psi Those engines can safely take a boost increase (manual boost control or chip) up to 12-15psi before you really have to start playing with the engine. So he maybe blowing a little smoke where the sun don't shine.
Cheers

my friend has a 1.8t with a chip and borla exhaust and i beat him pretty easily. he is running around 15psi and i can still beat him, so with him running 18-21psi, which is the peak, im pretty sure you will win. It takes a while for the turbo to spool up. i beat my friend from a stop and a role. you got him easy.
