how much of a difference u think i would lose by i have full exhaust and a CAI and about to get 4.10 gears.

i raced an evo 8 with full 3" exhaust intake and the boost turned up and he won by 2 carlenghts.

 

EVO 9 >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t; 2000 GT.

I know a guy that has one, he has upgraded turbo, full 3" exhaust, Boost control (turned all the way up), Cam, dyno tuned, lots of other goodies.


Lets just say i ran him on the interstate one day on our way to a car show....he def. put like 15 cars on me....it was embarrasing, he left me like i was sitting still...

 

I have a stock 03' GT. I raced an EVO MR from a second gear roll. I dumped it, then he took off first. I quickly caugt up and was ahead of him by 1/4 of a car. I had him beat by that length til about mid way through third, then his boost kicked in and it was a WRAP for me! He shot off in front of me like he had a super shot of nitrous! But I know it was just his car getting into boost. I also test drove one. What I learned from the test drive is that you have to be in the right gear at the right time with those cars, or they're just about as good as an average 4 cylinder, until you get in boost.

Off the line ur gonna get killed(sorry). If u race him from a roll you got a chance, I just recently raced one(He had upgraded turbo,full exhaust,intercooler piping, and boost controller). He beat by a 1 from 30-110 only because his car wasnt in his mivac for that long(mivac=vtec).Once his car was actually in it he was blowing by me like there was no 2maro!
