I think it's all about the launch.. just like most races with relatively even cars.....

if you can get him off the line,, he might real you in slowly, but as long as you arent racing over 100 mph from the dig, then you'll get him..

if youre even/he's better on the launch, he'll probably get you

 

as far as im concerned, the trans am is less than stock. flowmasters actually can cost you HP on the LT1/LS1 engines.

still nothing to barf a lung at. don't underestimate him. and for the love of god, can we get a real, definite HP #?

Where did you guys get 302 hp? In his sig it says 260 at the wheels, which I veeeery strongly doubt.
In theory, this race could go either way. JUST GO RUN HIM AND POST THE RESULTS. And when you do so, do some recon to locate the punctuation keys ahead of time.

Tommy, He redid his sig after his original post. His original mod sig said 302rwhp. I think he downsized his HP numbers amongs the gang of flames that was about to initiate. lol

 

I just hope he doesn't think the "rated" 260 hp is to the wheels.

Meh, 13.3 @ 106 with stock manifolds, cats and Y-pipe. I need to fix the header leak, get some decent tires, and wait for cooler weather before trying it again.
