Default Auto vs Manual

I have an 05' V6 Auto, and will be modifing it soon. My question is If I ever want to take it to the track how will I be able to warm up my tires and get a good launch, b/c its an auto. Almost all my cars have been manual, so any info on auto's would be helpful. Thank you.

If you're on street tires just spin'em a few times to get any crap off of them. For a burn-out hold the brake down just enough to stop your car from going forward...while holding the brake hit the gas...let off the brake when you want to roll out of it and then the gas.

I would just drive around the water box, and refrain from spinning your one tire. Atleast until you get a trac-lock or something. Turn tc off if your v6 has it

when you put your foot on the brakes, your only braking on the front wheels correct
