i would never pay 68k for that car. hell no! i would save 10 more grand up and buy a c6 z06.
and if the stang is going to be around 45k then I would also take the vette over it.

Another thing that pisses me off is how Ford is more than happy to make mustang's fatter and fatter all the time.The GT500 weighs 3900+ pounds,thats just retarded,what the C6 weigh,3100-3200lbs.

 

Ford was just wetting the appetite of their loyalists by their 500hp powerplant. They had no choice with the weight of that pig and if they put a lesser rated engine in it the Terminators and C5's would be running right along with it. So remember ppl Ford was not doing any consumer any favors by having 500hp.............They had no choice.

Way to go by the vette guys to stomp all over excited Shelby enthusiast. So what if the vette can out perform the shelby. I love Vette's don't get me wrong, Im highly considering getting a ZO6 as my next car.....But Shelby's are Legends and I am more excited to see the new GT500 on the streets than a new ZO6. I could care less about the stats and blah blah blah. Just my 2 cents
