my buddy is about to get a 98 ws6 6spd and he wants to race,nothing done to the engine, just flowmaster kit, frame ties and strut brace....how bad will i get beat???[:'(]

He'll whoop you like a girlscout. I drove one of those..an automatic even...and it was way faster than any Mustang I've driven.

slap a 150 shot or F/I of any kind and youll keep up with him. still wouldnt be an EASY kill

 

Well he just got the car. If he knows how to drive it and is use to the car he will beat you no doubt. I see you got 373 that will help you launch you might get him from a dig if he's not use to that car but once he does watch out. Oh don't race from a roll they are animals from a roll you will for sure lose. Good luck though!

 

I dont think your stang is quite up to par with your buddys WS6, but I dont think he will beat you as badly as everyone else thinks. Now Im assuming that you can drive/launch the stang, and powershift through the gears. You do that and I bet you would give him a pretty good run.

 

you never know he could spin like crazy or somethin, but if he can not spin and push the pedel to the floor after he "launches" he will beat you every time dig or roll.

 

good luck with that..the new gt500 cant even beat a regular c6. so you can only imagine what a z06 would do.
