That car will run low 13's completely stock. If he has any competence with driving, you will lose quite badly. If it's a short race you may make it respectable.

I've seen one loose tho... auto LS1 w/ intake and full exhaust and im sure other mods , it waxed the T/A nast and broke loose a few times in the process . no1 wanted a piece of it after that so i stepped in , 4 -5 car massacre on my behalf.

 

I think that'll be a drivers race...

You'll need the jet engine upgrade................1990 LX 5.0's were great back in the day when they ruled over the 5.7 Iroc's

 

hmmm....i think the 5.7 TPI (L98) irocs with the rare 5 speed could easily take a 5.0. but i could be wrong.

 

i didn't think any of the 5.7s came with 5-speeds

 

I raced a friend of mine with a 98 ws6 and was proud of myself for only losing by 2 1/2 cars
