First Kill, Yay
So the other night I was cruising the city's main drag, a two lane road. I stopped at a stop light and a guy in a yellow S2000 pulled up next to me and looked at me. We were the first two cars at the light. I revved my engine at him just to be an ***, and he did the same thing...so I knew he was going to go. I watched for the light on the other side to turn red so I knew when ours was about to turn, and when it turned I took off normally, not launching or anything. I hear his 4-banger screaming next to me...Sadly for him I didn't even wind out second gear before I was 4-5 carlengths ahead of him, and then we stopped at the next light. The guy sat there for a few seconds and then turned off the road...I'm guessing he was avoiding me or something, because there is right turn on red here...I don't know why else he would just sit there cause there was nobody coming.
But anyway, yeah, the adrenaline was flowing on that one, it felt great. I raced an '05-'06 GT before, but he turned off at the drug store so I don't know if it really counts...but regardless I whooped his *** too. But anyway, just thought I'd share. It was great fun.
In other news, my insurance company wrote me a check for 2850 to repair the body damage caused when my hood flew up. Needless to say, I will be spending it all on the car, which is exciting.

nice kill, S2000's are pretty quick. you must have some serious mods to beat an S-197 GT. and explain how in the hell does a hood flying up caust almost 3 grand worth of damage?! lol gotta love full coverage.
Well the cowl on my hood pretty much smashed the metal cowl on my car. It was all bent in, and my wipers couldn't even work. It also broke my windshield obviously. I rebent the cowl back out, and bought a new cover, which cost me 40 bucks on Ebay. There are also a couple of dents above my windshield that were there when I bought the car but the guy assumed were caused by the hood hitting, which I didn't argue with. So he basically gave me the money to have the whole cowl cut out, replaced, and repainted...Which I don't think I'm going to need to have done.
And my car is far from stock, which explains why I beat an S197.
