the 3v can make so extream top end power almost enought to rival the 01-02 cobras
*fixed

i walked a pair of cobras with 4.10s and nothing else a yr or two ago
there's no such thing as a 02 cobra (in the U.S.) but agree with your "fix" otherwise

good kill man

i had another run in with a 05+ mustang tonight. this time it was a 5 speed car, black with the 18" wheel package, great looking car. We jockied threw traffic for a while until we finaly broke around everyone and pulled up at a light. Green came after what seemed like 15 min and we both got a preaty good launch. Dead even threw first gear, then i power shifted second and pulled out a 1/2 to 3/4 of a car, speed shifted third (i almost allways mis if i try to powershift third) and held the same ground till 105, nailed 4th and he started creeping and we both shut down about 115 with me still out in front by around 1/2 a car. At the next light we talked, he was bone stock and we both gave eachother props on the cars. the 3v cars are preaty damn quick even stock, i was pumped to beat him threw the whole 1/4mi especialy since i didnt out 60' him, i figured he might come back on me up top. for the record i have a catback, offroad x, 75mm tbody, plenum and a diablo tune. still i figure i spent $1000 on mods and when i bought my car the 05 i was looking at was 7k more, i am happy.

04 mustang gt 40th anniv package.
yeah. i was in the same boot. get put on the waiting list for a 2k over msrp marked up 05, or get a great deal on a brand new 04GT and drive home that day. i'm happy with my choice.

i would be happier if i had your mod list, want to trade?

All the baseline 05-06 dynos I've seen are in the 260-265 range.

Aside from that, I ran a 01 Cobra last week and had him by 1-2 lengths on a 10-80 run.

Dude i raced a Stang identical to yours last night and it wasnt even funny how bad he got beat it was like he wasnt even movin!! Man i need to find the guy you raced and punch him in the mouth for making the new stangs look bad. But with that said good kill i wish i could find some competition like you in my area. I have only lost one race since i got my car and that was to an STI.

have at it man. this guy was shocked. hes like "i guess you got some work done to that thing"

2 and 0 vs. the 3v!

2v FTW.

For some reason, the newbie '05 guys can't understand when a new edge hands them their ***. I did that right when the '05's came out. I rolled up on one and the guy looked at me like... Whatever. You should have seen the look of disgust on his face when he got walked by a '99 Convertible. I almost wish I had a camera.

i had things happen the other way around. this was my first >150hp car, and i didn not have grand expectations for how quick it would be. then i started racing other cars and kept getting the "omg dude, wtf that car shouldn be that fast its just a stock/mostly stock gt...?"

ive had people ask how much boost im running, what *brand* of nitrous kit (lmao at that one), whether i had a hemi swap (really really lmao at that one), etc. then i went to the track and ran 110.8 trap speed and was like "waoh, i guess it is kinda quick". now im a total stuck up arrogant *** about it [8D]. jkjk, but seriously, i never rev on anyone or make conscious effort to provoke them, but when necessary ill open her up good and hard.

I'd be slightly confused if you said it was bone stock and it trapped 110+ too...
