so last night i went to the street races for the first time. i went with a guy i met with a 98 cobra. it was actually pretty fun. everybody met in a vons parking lot. there was a pretty good mix of everything there. any way we headed out to one of the backroads around town to start racing. i was surprised cuz it was pretty well organized. i raced my buddy with the cobra first and beat him by about a car and a half maybe two. then this guy in a 70s ish camaro rolls up and and everybody was afraid t race him. they started asking hey where did that red mustang go. at first i was heasentent because the car wassick looking. he was rolling on m/t slicks and the thing sounded sick. so some guy in a truck decided to race him with a head start and he still lost. after watching him i thought i could at least hang so when the guy got back i challenged him. well we launched and i actually pulled about a car on him off the start. and i was about half a car ahead of him entill i went for third and missed,F@$$$#$#$ is all i could say. he blew by as soon as that happened.i would have raced him again but just as we had launched the cops rolled in from the other side. so needless to say ill be getting my short shifter soon and challenging him again. i met up with the guy back at the vons parking lot and tried to talk to him and figure out what he had but he wouldnt talk. i did see him pop the hood though and the whole engine was cromed out. so at least i lost to american muscle. but next time we race i should beat him. o well it was still fun and no one got hurt or arrested.

 

He had slicks and you beat him out of the hole on street tires??Chrome doesnt mean fast does it??[8D]

 

sorry i forgot to mention that i have full suspension and drs. no crome doesnt mean fast but it ususally means money wich ususally means fast lol.
