When my windows are up (25%tint) and a ricer comes up next to me, I just ignore them. I think sometimes that hurts them more then giveing them what they want.

 

had a stock srt4 last summer comment on "just a mustang" as he pulled into denny's while i was leaving. my buddy hopped out of the seat as i was turning the car on, and waved a $5 bill at them and said "lets race then...".

the guy and his two friends get back in the car and follow us onto the main road. he pulls up and says hell race but not for money. i put about 7-8 car lengths on him from 30-110. then he says "from a dig". we stop at a green light cuz its 3am and no cars around. i honk 3 times, not going until he started to chirp, and proceeded to put so many car lengths on him i could no longer recognize his car.

that was the last time i've had someone talk blatant smack. usually i get complements or something, or at least a friendly invite to run em...of course there are the "no-talkers, just-racers" out there that kinda pace next to you and egg you on, and i've given into that a few times too

 

Nobody likes to race here in the O.C. Maybe thats a good thing.

Be VERY careful with SRT-4's as some of them will flat out own you if youa rent careful. Several of my friends have SRT4's that are quite nasty, the meanest of which runs 11.8@122 with slicks and is a daily (low boost).

 

i am QUITE aware of what even a properly set up/driven stage 2 can do. there were two of them at the track last month running 12.60s and 12.80s, respectively, all night long. the funny this is that i ran the guy who was puttin up 12.80s on the street a while back (same setup as had the the track, but from a roll), and put almost a car length on him. maybe the track was running well that night, but i couldn run cuz my rear end was falling apart (fixed now).

just look at STANMAN, whose neon went 11.70s on the street tune IIRC.

ill pretty much race anything if it seems worth my time. i really dont care if i lose...because...well...if it beats me then its a damn quick/fast car, and has enough work done to it to be something worth complementing and respecting. you rarely run into jerks who race if they drive a car capable of mid 12s or better (aside from the arrogant "i can beat anything" people, im referring to the fact that cars that quick arent gonna flip you off and then talk shlt about your ride...instead they'll usually say nice run and brag about how many mods they have)

 

Yeah, my car is a ricer magnet too...I think pretty much all Mustangs are.

One time I had these two dudes in an ugly multi-colored civic with the usual ricer mods (I like a lot of imports, but this one fell into the "not worth my time" category and it was 100% RICER). They kept revving, dropping it into 3rd, and saying things like "Yo you aint gotzzz nothing yo"... but I keep one of those fake cop badges in my car and I held it up and they instantly just shut up and disappeared lol.

 

For the record, the only "rice" that has run me in 2 years was a Tirburon and a RSX-S (I was ran by an S2000 and an MKIV Supra TT but those arent rice).

 

My bro has an svt focus and hes not gay. ITs a nice *** car imo has a horrible stock tuned if it had some more hp be really nice., but thing out handles some porshes.
