Default where to begin?

ok so i have been looking over a couple threads on this site pertaining to mustangs vs. cobalts. i am the owner of a 2005 cobalt ss supercharged 2.0. im not posting to bash or troll, i have respect for GT's and especially the newer GT's. they are some of the best sounding cars on the road. only question to you guys is why? why are you guys so afraid to admit to the cobalt having some ***** for a cheap little 4 banger? do i think a cobalt will beat the 99-04 GT's hands down every time, hell no. do i think the GT will win every time, hell no. but why in the hell are you guys so ****ing defensive? i am good friends with 2 99-04 style GT owners here in conway, and i love their cars. they are both running mid to low 11's in the 1000', the only track around here. they are both fairly modified and are on these forums so they can vouche for whatever you guys call bs on that i say.

i admit the GT has the edge from a dig, especially with a good driver, and i give the edge to the cobalt from a roll with a good driver. but you guys just seem to quick to put down the cobalt. so im just going to give you times my car has run with certain mods, and you guys can talk it up.

only mod was flowmaster 40 series muffler with stock piping- best time 11.85 at 90MPH 1000' foot track. app. a 14.1-14.2 quarter mile.

GMPP stage 2, ingalls torque dampner, and flowmaster 40 series with stock piping- best time 11.37 at 93.65 1000' track. app. 13.4-13.5 quarter.

all these were on stock tires. i have vids to go with both runs i believe so if you dont believe me i can back it up with vids. which i will post here in a bit.

my goal for this car is to run 12's under warranty which i see as a very good possibilty with 16 inch DR's and full exhaust.

yesterday i had a run in with an auto Mach 1 and we ran from 40-100, put 3-4 cars on him. have been beaten when i only had the muffler by my friends GT with work done to it from a 40 roll and a 20 roll.

talk it up, call bs feel, free to make yourself look like an intelligent unbiased person, or feel free to make yourself look like a dumbass

Sweet another Cavabalt thread!

Try not to be an asshat like the last guy and you'll get a lot more respect. Nice times on your setup, good luck on your goal!

im with him. so far, u seem "ok", 'cept for your choice in car. haha. seriously tho, all the other Crapabalt drivers have had an attitude about them, which in turn, made us turn on them. so, act cool toward us, we'll act cool toward you. this is automotive enthusiast forum, based around 'Stangs, but, there are import drivers here, F-body drivers, etc, etc. the ones we have problems with, are the ones who think theyre faster than everybody else, including some 'Stang owners who are like that. but, like i said, stay cool toward us, and youll be ok. if not, prepare for war.

yeah i was trying to show you guys i dont really care what you drive, if its fast its fast, its as simple as that, but at the same time show me some respect and dont sit here and call me a "Crapablt driver" or a "Cavabalt driver" those are both ignorant and uncalled for comments
