what do you guys feel about 2 gen eclipses, meaning the gs-t and gs-x, has any one race one of those before?

 

yes i've raced two of them. One of them on our local highway that wasn't that fast i beat him by quite a bit. Then one of them is my buddies and hes got about 25k worth of mods to this thing. I raced him 70 to about 125 and it qas completely even until i went into 4th then i just so slightly started to pull, but then we shut down. Both were gs-t's.

One of my best friends has a 1996 Eclipse GS-T with the turbo intake, front mount intercooler, full exhaust (manifold back), boost controller and it's pretty fast. If we race from a dig it's a rape but if we race from a 60 mph roll it's alot closer.

 

The GST's are a fast car.
I just threw a rod on mine so i'm waiting on a new block but mine has 350WHP. dyno*
trouble is with it being FWD its hard to get that power to the road.

 

i think they all run very high 14s stock.
