I enjoy my 2003 gt and I know some people on the site own many different cars than mustangs. Speed is speed no matter what you race. It is nice though to have a quick car that surprises people and I don't get any comments from people too often about my car being special or fast for a Gt mustang. If it had a supercharger yeah it would be noticed. It fun owning my last car which was a Dodge Spirit Rt. Many people don't know about the car and for the few that did they wondering where I found it at and weren't surprized it was running 96mph stock in the qtr mile.

I think of cars this way.
If I was to buy a honda I'm going to have to stick a ton of money into it to run 13's and without problems. The stock drivetrains in these cars were never designed for high stress loads. High horse power hondas break axles. This goes for many other cars that weren't design for high performance.

Mustang Stock comes with great drivetrain and motor that will survive plenty of abuse. This has been proven car and that's why I bought it.

Srt-4 is accually a strong built 4 cylinder and has a great getdrag transmission and great axles. I've seen these cars make 12 second passes after passes on stock set up with added boost and no problems. Still it's pretty new design(this car was my other choice)
