my car has a couple of mods and his 2004 is completely stock. we raced about six to eight times and pretty much everytime it was dead even. i messed up a couple of times and hit the wall going into third but we got a good idea of how the cars stacked up against each other, " its a drivers race " between our cars.

i also have a question: We were racing on the freeway on our way back and i downshifted from 5th to 4th as he shifted from 4th to 3rd, and we took off. once again, we were even till we shut down. who had the advantage in that race ? was it me since i started in 4th or him since he took off from 3rd ?

He would be in a advantage because he is in a lower gear.

Machs are good for 13.5's bone stock with a good driver, it takes

4.10's, and maybe a bolt on or two, plus one hell of a launch (or DR's) for a bullit/99-04 GT to run 13.5-13.6

Haha, you would need a SOLID bit of mods to compete with a well driven Mach. SOunds like he has a plug wire burned in half or something. With a GOOD DRIVER those cars trap 103-4ish or so and a stock Bullit is lucky to hit 100 with a pro behind the wheel, normally 98-99mph or so. What are your mods? That would help a lot.

the bullett is a nice car, but the Mach should have eaten you.
They are a low 13 second car when driven right.
But regardless, win is a win, so good job.

A 99-04 gt should of been able to pull on you. Something is wrong with that guys car.
