so i was at the dragstrip last night(friday) and i get lined up with a new edge gt i have no idea what year(99-04) i didnt ever get a chance to talk to him or realize if he had the hood scoop or not. well after we staged and took off i had him the whole way in the 1/4 mile, at the end of first he was definetly gaining on me but then i shifted into second and took the gain away and put a little more distance between us never got to more than 1/2 a car though, and we flew by the finish line with me running a 14.85 to his 14.75 and my reaction and 60' was a .1671 and 2.32 and his being 2.30 and a 2.30 i also had a trap speed of 94.32 and his a 95.77

 

I'd say he was sleeping at the light. From those times, he beat you in every aspect of the race, just a better launch for you. I see you ran a 14.3 with a non-pi GT with a few bolt on's, very impressive. You sure your car didnt have the pi swap done before you got the car?
