So Im on my way home from dropping my buddy from work off. I make a right turn and see a 96 Cobra at the stop light to my left. Well im crusin and he comes roaring up on me. Exhaust sounded sweet. Well we are messing around but there is some traffic. Well we finally hit a red light. He has a passanger with him( I'd say 170 pounds?). Well light turns green and I get a sh!tty launch( I need to practice). He pulls about a car on me and stays there till about 3rd gear for me. Then I slowly started to reel him in. Well there are a few cars ahead and we kill it at about 110. We are going about 50 when he starts to honk 3 times. Well I didn't have enough time to down shift to third by the time the third honk came. He guns it and pulls about half a car on me. I dropped it to 3rd as fast as I could. Well when I hit 4th I started creeping up on him again. But his turn came up and we killed it at about 100. It seemed to me that if we would have kept going that I would have eventually reeled him in. I totaly thought I was going to to get blown away!!! I was proud of myself to have stuck with a Cobra. Don't those things have 305hp? It was so much fun. I haven't had a good race like that in awhile. Got the heart pumping like crazy!!!
