Last night I'm going to dinner pull up at a stop light kid in the slow lane (appropriately enough) is in a NEON (not a SRT either) with a fart can of course. As I pull up I hear the sound of bumblebees and figure that must be his exhaust. I look over and he is motioning wanting to race. I look at him in disbelief then laugh at him. He keeps revving his engine and when the light turns green floored it. I guess the fart can didn't add much horsepower because his flooring it was barely faster than my normal acceleration going uphill from the light.


This leaves me asking... WHY. If you have a NEON why are you trying to race a 04 GT. Seriously. When will people ever learn. I guess I should watch for a post "OMG I KILLED A 04 MUSTANG GT FROM A STOP TONIGHT 3 CARLENGTHS +!!!@!111"

Anyways I thought I'd share that one with you

 

when I drove a delivery truck for an auto parts store back in my younger days - I'd rev up at every car that ended up beside me hehe, whether it was a Mustang or a mini-van lolz. I think its just a maturity thing.

 

I need to start carrying my digital camera around in my car. I see the stupidest ricer on the planet all the time. He looks maybe Arab or Indian, but he's got an old f'd up 240SX completely stock. Dents, rust, this thing is really a piece of work. The kicker is the 8 foot (I'm not kidding) sprint car wing bolted to the trunk. Seriously, the wing costs more than the car did. And he's always bumping some gangsta shhhit.

Yeah, definitely going to start keeping my camera with me.

 

I saw an older GMC safari van with a 3 ft race sheet metal wing, ground effects, lowered, 2 tone tint job, rims, etc cruizing around town a few months ago with a bunch of Mexicans in it... lol

 

I don't think he really cares... probably just wanted to get his *** handed to him for the hell of it. I've tried to race a Z06 before, none of the revving and **** at a light, but man oh man did I have my *** handed to me.

 

what were u in ?? your honda ?? dude.....that just aint right. lol i dont blame you. ive pulled that **** b4 too just to see someone actually romp on a vette, cuz, around here, nobody really races corvette's. theyre all yuppies who just have it to say they have a Corvette at home......cant blame 'em, but, if i had a 'Vette, id race it. but, ill stick to my Pony. i love her. but, back to original subject.......guys pull up beside me all the time in a honda, or nissan, or acura, etc, etc, with MAYBE an intake and exhaust and rev at me at the lights....i mean, WTF. YOURE STOCK. IVE GOT A 5.0. HAHA i leave 'em sittin there lettin them wonder what the hell just happened, cuz, i mean, HEAVEN FORBID, they drive a 4-cyl, STOCK ON TOP OF THAT, and think they can beat me. and yes, I KNOW an srt-4 could beat me. or a 2g gsx/gst. or anything else along those lines. i kno im not FAST........YET, but, my car isnt bad at all for being stock. but, either way, a win is a win. "doesnt matter whether you win by an inch or by a mile.....winnings winning" if that aint the truth, i dont know what is !!!!

 

Yeah, I'm not always out for a race... but when I am I can be pretty stupid. I pulled up next to this Millenium Yellow vette, he looked over and i gave him a thumbsup, then he just smiled and looked forward.

When the light turned green i did a 2500 rpm launch (not a good one, but my tires suck) and he just walked off easily and blew right by me. I thought it was funny and I knew I had no chance... but hell thats part of the fun.

I was drivin one night and seen this silver SRT4 come up behind me. he got up next to me and we just sat and stared at each others cars for a while...light turned green and we just took off like good boys..he had one loud *** BOV tho...made me want to get an srt4...

Same thing with GTs. I see them all over, 2002s and up... they're just gorgeous... pleh.

 

I see this 98+ V6 Firebird with a giant spoiler bolted ontop of the factory one, with dual 4 inch chrome tips.

Kid takes it to the track every week and races it religiously. Amazing...

 

i do that sometimes too. just take off real easy beside somebody. especially when they want to race, and im in no hurry. i just take off easy. then, they slow down and wait for me and wait for me and wait some more, but, no avail. it pisses 'em off. i think its hilarious. haha. yeah, i dont care what kind of import it is, BOV's sound GREAT.

 

poor firechicken. LMAO i like ws-6's and firehawks, but, thats it. either way, 1) its a v-6 and 2) the owner thinks its a F**KIN IMPORT. NEWSFLASH....IT AINT AN IMPORT !!!!!! im done venting...........for now anyway
