My buddy just got one and i was extremely impressed with thids car. It feels very fast, I checked 1/4 times and they say 14.8. Can anyone else find a differant time, i would have thought it was faster.

Their SLOW!!! There was a group of young guys (3 or 4 cars) all running them. They were all in the low 15's & they would only race each other. I was in the staging lane next to them and They would talk sh*t about all the domestic junk. I told them I'd give 10 car lenths and still beat there fine germany autos. Most of the domestic junk (SRT-4's mustangs & camaros) would have flat out blown their doors off[8D]

I went from a 40 roll against an aftermarket blown one and broke DEAD even with it

the reason it feels so fast is because of the power/weight.. that's why all these civic guys claim thier car is so fast until they run it at the track, or run an actual fast car, haha...

Not the case at all. Its because it is the fastest they have ever had. Mom's minivan is a slug compared to their new-found glory. Its just like your first car, sure beat the hell out of a bike didnt it? Well, same principal.

GTI's like any lower price bracket car is not ment to be a monster stock. They are nice cars and when modded are respectable. With a chip alone running 14.1 as stated above....thats right at what pre03 cobras run. Not bad for a single mod.

yep thats why u see so many idiot 16 and 17 year old kids who think that a wing and sticker from the fast and the furious will pwn vipers? how many 22+ year olds do you see with a riced out car?
