4Stangs: about that comparison thread with your S281E and the ZO6 many ppl were leaning towards the ZO6 because there just was'nt enough performance information on your car. It would be a VERY close race. Saleen cars handle very well (much better than any Factory Mustang) . I am very suprised one of the national mags have not tested this car yet..........

Z06 right now stock is 11.3 @ 127mph.. Ranger over on LS1tech....

A lot of talk about possible 10s stock this fall or even DRs only. I guess we will see. TM sees to be limiting factor as the has only seen 11.2 @ 127mph with DRs vs stock tire. All Info posted on LS1tech if you are curious.

 

Tempting, but that's a 7 hour drive for me. The next time one of my Lears is going that way, maybe I will hop on. I'd love to see that car in person and get a guided tour.

The 1/4 times seem to vary greatly in the vette. Which probably means that driver ability plays a big part. An 11.3 in the vette is in perfect conditions with an excellent driver powershifting. Average drivers will run low 12's to high 11's in it.

 

is that in a standard or automatic and how much time would be in between them with an excelent driver
