Maybe, I traded my 01 ss auto and I never ran worse then 13.9 in it. I was usually runnig 13.6-13.7 with my best 13.5 and I only had maybe 20 passes on it making me a complete novice. The GTO is a faster car then the SS but it is tricky to figure out but I wouldn't trade it for an auto don't care how bad I suck at drag racing.
